Zomato, India’s popular food ordering and delivery platform, has launched a new ad film that offers a playful take on why Bengaluru enjoys such pleasant weather. The film humorously reveals that it’s all thanks to the timely delivery of delicious "oota" (food) to the city’s kind-hearted Weather Gods, keeping the weather in perfect temperature.
The ad film stars Dino Morea as the lead Weather God, who oversees his divine team managing Bengaluru's ideal climate. The light-hearted storyline suggests that the city’s consistently pleasant weather is thanks to Zomato’s on-time food deliveries, which keeps the Weather Gods happy and their efforts in right shape. The campaign also features appearances from actors and influencers like Ashish Vidhyarthi, Niharika NM, and Jordindian, adding fun and excitement for the viewers.
The campaign began with intriguing outdoor advertisements asking, "Why is Bengaluru's weather so super?" Cricket legend Anil Kumble shared a picture of the ads on X, adding to the talk. On the launch day, Zomato revealed the answer through social media and outdoor ads, featuring Dino Morea as the Weather God with the tagline: “Super weather needs super oota!”
