Mumbai, Aug 1, Embracing the monsoon madness of Mumbai, menswear brand The Pant Project has unveiled its first-ever outdoor transit media campaign, highlighting its just-launched Water Repellent Pants. Marked the Oops Proof campaign, the impactful activation involves large-format branded buses plying key city routes, from Thane to South Bombay, Navi Mumbai to Andheri, bringing the brand message right into the thick of the rain.

As a part of daily life for urban residents, The Pant Project's Water Repellent Pants are designed to deal with the capricious nature of the urban commute, water-soaked streets, muddy splashes, and coffee spills, to name a few.

"Buses seemed like the most honest, blue-collar metaphor for what these pants do, move through the mess, keep going, and never look out of place," said Sukita Tapadia, Chief Marketing Officer. "That's what 'Oops Proof' is all about. Life throws surprises, our pants are built to handle all of it."

The campaign is not only bold in terms of visuals but also participatory. The brand is conducting a social challenge inviting Mumbaikars to identify the 'Oops Proof' bus, take a picture, post it along with the location, and tag @thepantproject. The first 100 winners get a free pair of pants that costs up to ₹2,500.

Co-founder and Creative Director Udit Toshniwal added, “Mumbai’s monsoon doesn’t wait. Neither should style or comfort. This campaign puts our product directly into the daily storm, literally.”
