Bard to Boost Software Development with Advanced Coding Upgrades and other additional features

While ChatGPT has been taking over the world since its inception, search giant Google has launched its own AI chatbot, ‘BARD’. Google began providing access to Bard on March 21, 2023, initially only in the United States and the United Kingdom, inviting users to join a waiting list. Google removed the waiting list and made Bard available in over 180 countries and territories on May 10, 2023. Google has also introduced several new features to Bard in an attempt to take control of the AI chatbot area, which is presently dominated by OpenAI's ChatGPT.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that the latest developments in conversational AI will undoubtedly boost the search engine. As we move forward towards an AI-centric world, many other tech companies, like Microsoft and Meta, are rushing to incorporate AI technologies into their products and services.

It appears that there will be a chatbot battle because Meta, the company that owns Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram, launched Blenderbot, an AI chatbot, in the US last summer. Tech giant Baidu says that Ernie, also known as Wenxin Yiyan, a chatbot, was launched in China on March 16, 2023. And with ChatGPT and BARD’s launch, there will be a clash in the AI chatbot market.

"As we have said from the beginning, large language models are still a nascent technology with known limitations," the search giant added. So, as we grow, we'll retain our high standards for quality and local peculiarities while still adhering to our AI Principles." Bard is built on Google's Lamda language learning model, which is believed to respond in a human-like manner. The most recent large language model (LLM) from Google, PaLM 2, supports Bard. The transition to the PaLM2 language model has made it possible for Bard to make recent improvements such as coding ability, advanced arithmetic and reasoning abilities, and more.

As Google improves and expands the features of Bard, recent improvements and enhancements will help authors, content creators, and others who use Bard to brainstorm and generate new ideas, emphasizing the company's dedication to innovation and customer happiness. It allows marketers to participate in a conversation with Bard in order to ask clarifying or follow-up questions, allowing them to gain deeper insights on a certain topic. Marketers can be at ease knowing that the information Bard gathers from the web is more up-to-date, and future advances will bring countless benefits to the marketing and advertising industries.
