Havells lights up Ganesh Chaturthi with creative billboard: Safety Cha Deva campaign

The Havells India brand has come up with a very striking new campaign, 'Safety Cha Deva,' which celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi in a novel way. Havells India has made the festival a showpiece of electrical safety through several striking outdoor advertisements across different locations in Mumbai and Pune.

The key installation of this campaign is a Ganesh idol made from 45,000 meters of Havells Flame Retardant wires. This not only gives the festival a larger-than-life character but also reflects Havells' concern for electrical safety. The two-week campaign uses a mix of static billboards and dynamic installations at Siddhivinayak Temple and Juhu Beach, among other busy spots.

Rohit Kapoor, executive president of marketing at Havells India, discussed the dual purpose of the campaign: "Ganesh Chaturthi makes homes across Maharashtra come alive with lights and joy. With 'Safety Cha Deva,' we are not just participating in the celebrations; we are strengthening our promise of safety. In the same way, that Lord Ganesha removes obstacles, the flame-retardant wires remove silent guardians of electrical hazards for us.

The festive hoardings that the campaign has done were put at five prime locations in Mumbai and five in Pune, respectively, telling topical festival themes with a modern hint of safety messages. With the tagline "Wires that do not catch fire." Havells has created an enduring and striking presence to integrate safety into the festivities of the occasion.

Speaking about this campaign, Siddharth Anand Jha, Sr. GM-Marcom, Havells India, said, "At Havells, we want to connect directly with our customers on a specific day like Ganpati. 'Safety Cha Deva' is not only catching and carries forward our promise of safety so that our brand stays top of mind."
