Parle-G, a biscuit brand, has won the hearts of countrymen from all angles for its recent advertisement during the Chhath Puja festival. The ad release saw the film going viral in no time, ringing the brand’s long-held thought, “Genius wohi, jo auron ke khushi mein paaye apni khushi,” as the premise. The video, as the brand mentions, shows how even very small movements of kindness can turn very common moments into being expressed in very great ways of love.
The feature is deeply rooted in the culture of Bihar, Jharkhand, and the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh, and it artistically portrays the Chhath Puja rituals, beliefs, strictness, and nature worship gratitude. The video tells a heart-tugging story of Anjali, a woman who is going through a medical crisis and thus is compelled to miss the rituals this year. Her little nephew, unable to bear her gloom, takes her to the Ghat, the very place where the rituals are performed, and thus becomes a symbol of emotions, loyalty, and the small yet beautiful facets of being human.
The movie, scheduled to be released on October 9, 2025, aligns perfectly with Parle-G’s famous Durga Puja and Onam campaign. The advertisement slowly transformed into one of the most shared stories of the brand in the regional market, reflecting its genuineness and emotional strength. The promotion resulted in massive unpaid visibility on social networks, and on October 26, it was among the five most talked-about topics on Twitter India. The advertisement attracted over 32.5 million views on YouTube and 27.9 million impressions on Facebook, with a remarkable 70.8% view-through rate, all due to the powerful organic lift across the platforms.
Mayank Shah, Vice President of Parle Products, characterized the campaign as an acknowledgment of empathy and unity, whereas Vinod Kunj and Renu Somani from Thought Blurb Communications highlighted its true representation of local culture. Through this movie, Parle-G continues to be the one that tells the heartwarming stories that highlight India’s cultural practices, feelings, and the subtle brilliance that is revealed through simple acts of love.
