Wall-mounted hoardings on the rural wedding routes

Wedding jewellery in the eastern belt is bought by families who travel into town for the purchase but decide at home. The sites went to them: hoardings mounted on boundary walls along the village highways and approach roads, carrying the Vivaah bridal collection with the showroom details. Wall sites cost a fraction of a structure and put full-size creative on the one road that connects the village to the town.

What it delivered

Rural wall sites reach a wedding audience that no city buy touches, in the months when the decision is being made at home rather than in the shop. Placing them on the route into town means the family passes the board on the same journey they will make to buy.

The preferred medium

91.1% is print

Print captured the highest share of the sector’s ad spend over the 12 months to September 2025, at 91.1% of estimated television, print and radio spend. Digital sits outside this split because TAM prices it on a different scale; it is reported by ad count instead.

Methodology & notes

Built from 18 industry-standard ad-monitoring and research sources. Every number here is a count of ads recorded: how many ads the brand ran and where they ran. We do not publish rupees, because the cost figures in the data are not comparable between TV, radio, print and online. City figures cover print, radio and outdoor, the media bought market by market.
